About this Project

C:yber C:ipher is an award-winning 2.5D action game about a computer bug who must dodge hazards and security firewalls as they try to corrupt the User's programming files. This game was created for the 2023 Global Game Jam with the support of Coexist Gamelab.

Awards

C:yber C:ipher received an award for Player's Choice For Best Game. C:yber C:ipher also received award nominations for Best Audio, and Best Overall Game.

Game Instructions

You are a bug in the computer system. Use WASD to move and access root folders. Stay on the folders to corrupt their files.

The User is intent on stopping us. The roaming Firewall, and flaming folders, will purge us on contact.

The Firewall can track you if you come into contact with its circular radar system. Accessing blue folders will keep you safe and prevent you from being detected.

Once you have corrupted all files, the User's security system will be vulnerable. Corrupt The User to win the game.
